The Great Moment issue by CUTOUT tops our list of favourite publications to date. It’s beautiful for its finishing touches and the stories within capture the happy/sad/nostalgic/historical moments encountered and celebrated by designers everywhere. This issue is similar with the previous Naked issue in that the paper is off-white and the die-cuts of a certain shape appear on the front cover. What’s new is the use of rainbow foil on the cover that’s so avant garde.
The first part of the thinking process which shapes the CUTOUT magazine cover at any one time is the theme – whether it’s a single word or a short line, the idea of the theme stems from what is thought by the CUTOUT team to be current and “hot right now”.
